I charge a flat fee for routine work (which includes travelling costs, the work performed, etc) depending on how many horses per yard.  I find this is easier for clients especially when there are a range of owners at each yard.  On VERY rare occasions there may be an additional fee (e.g. wolf tooth removal, extra time required, etc) but any extra charges will be discussed with the owner prior to work commencing.  All work is fully insured.

1 horse/pony = £60

2+ horses (at the same yard) = £50/horse or pony

Special rates for registered charities.  Please contact me to discuss. Prices correct as of January 2024.

I am very flexible in the hours I work. I understand many horse owners work during the daytime and so I am available for early morning or late evening appointments. All I ask is for fresh water (cold is fine!) and a bright area to work in.

By personal choice, I primarily use hand tools for routine work and power tools for major overgrowths.  I also allow plenty of time per patient so I can give them my full attention in a calm and relaxed manner and have therefore been able to treat many horses who previously had to be sedated for dental work. This in turn lowers the cost for the owner, as it reduces the expense of calling a veterinary surgeon out to sedate.
